A law enforcement source told our sister station, ABC7 Eyewitness News in New York, that the suspect's unmasked smile came as he flirted with the front desk clerk who checked him into the hostel, and encouraged him to drop the mask so she could see his smile. The suspect obliged, pulling his mask down long enough for the surveillance camera to capture his face.

Oof.

Seems a bit odd the family isn't kicking in more reward money. $10k isn't much these days.

I honestly don't think I would genuinely snitch on this dude for $10M, let alone $10k. But for $10M I'd take it and make up a really good believable lie.

Eh it's enough for them to fake being upset for a good show and at the same time they don't want to give away all that inheritance. The family knew he was scum.
