A piece of equipment that I think is super useful for dealing with tricksy, trapsy dungeons is a staked eyebolt.

Basically just a loop of metal on a stake. You can secure it into the wall or floor on a dungeon and run a rope through it. This is great for pull levers or opening doors that look suspicious.

It is a custom piece of equipment to ask for, but if you are in a place with any kind of metal working it is an easy ask to want a link from a large piece of chain to be welded to the end of a large spike.
