Well, that's a bit awkward...

"Coote was the video assistant referee when a challenge by the Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford on Virgil van Dijk that left the Liverpool defender with an anterior cruciate ligament injury went unpunished."

"Coote also drew the ire of Klopp as the VAR for the 1-1 draw between Liverpool and Arsenal last December after an apparent handball in the box by Martin Ødegaard did not lead to a penalty."

Yeah, it's over for him. We all know referees have biases but they're never supposed to admit to them. Though this wouldn't be an issue if they actually tried to be consistent.

Good refs can overcome their bias, terrible refs can't and brag about it.

This. I've been hearing some media say that everyone has biases and the problem is he went on video with it, no mate, as a professional, you tamper them down. Imagine someone not being able to play their keeper against United because the keeper supported them as a kid and so doesn't try his best. That's insane.
