I'm just overly sensitive πŸ˜‚ worked in call centres for a thousand years. I always tell people, be nice to the person your speaking to, and then politely escalate if needed. Consultants will move mountains for you if you are kind and genuine with them :)

Sometimes though, partial to full Karen is required. Especially if it's the company's fault lol

Totally get that. I’ve done front counter work before. Inability to go off script is the worst bit. Escalate without me using that word if it’s needed.
