A tallying of mail-in and absentee voting ballots has widened the B.C. NDP's lead in two ridings, but the outcome for both districts won't be known until a full manual recount is completed on Sunday and Monday.

In addition to the NDP's widening lead in those ridings, the party has moved within 14 votes of the Conservatives in Surrey-Guildford, with the Tories previously leading by 103 votes there before Saturday.

So far the toss-up riding mail in ballots seemed to have been NDP favourable. I'm keeping an eye on the Surrey-Guildford results, will be a chance to flip and extend the NDPs lead a touch more. There are an estimated 634 ballots to tally in to close the original 102 vote gap.

Courtenay Comox and Kelowna Centre might be interesting if it gets any tighter but are a longshot.
