I need to ask. If you were to connect your ps5. What will you be connecting it up to and what would the resolution of the monitor or tv?
Does visual fidelity bother you much or frame rates?
It's going to a 75inch 4ktv 60hZ.
I don't think it would make a huge difference. Even with the capability, it will be a long time until enough games take advantage of it to justify it I think.
Maybe in 12 months I'll trade it in, but there is literally nowhere to buy a disk drive for the pro atm which does lock me into only using the plays ration store.
Which means your paying more money to sign up for being screwed by PSN prices. Go compare a couple of games digital edition to what JB are charging.
In took the plunge and got the normal version. Ff rebirth is loading as we speak lol
yeah good call!
Man I can't fucking wait lol I've imported my data from the old game from ps4.
I haven't read any reviews or spoilers. Let's see how it goes!
I havenβt looked into it took much apart from when it was announced and it was discussed by people.
Iβm not sure what the improvements are going to be like with the Pro to be honest but the impressions initially werenβt great. It was nailed hard because of how expensive it was going to be combined with having to buy a disc drive and maybe possible a stand.
The idea was that you could access 4k at 60 frames instead of 4k 30 frames.
@tinybreak makes good points. Plus admittedly I only play a few hours a week.
That extra $450 is a couple of insane nights out or just saved.
I reckon I'll grab the standard next week.
