It is not by and for communists. Just because the main dev of a project adheres to a certain ideology it doesn’t mean everyone adheres to that ideology. In fact the communist section of lemmy is pretty much defederated from the rest

It was literally the purpose it was created but go off I guess, what's a little revisionism.
And by "the rest" you mean .world "preemptively defederating as a last resort"
It doesn’t matter what it was created for, it matters what it is now. You can’t say that marxists are even close to being the majority of users.
A huge portion of the community also blocks the two tankie instances on their own account, it’s just that world did it because it’s one of the bigger instances and wanted to keep a good image of the platform
A good image for americans. The truth doens't fit their propaganda so they start whining.
