Former President Donald Trump has yet again skipped the bill for a campaign rally, leaving the town that hosted it to foot the cost — this time the college town of St. Cloud, Minnesota.

This is probably a stupid question, but what costs are there to rally?

Police and infrastructure (Port-o-potties, barriers, police overtime for crowd control, etc) plus the location has fees for renting the space.

about $63,000 for police costs, $62,000 for costs related to a change in a construction project near campus, $60,500 for public services, $21,000 for Fire Department costs and about $2,000 for IT-related costs."

I'm not sure I trust these numbers. I work in IT and it costs more than $2,000 for me to fart in not my chair.

Jokes aside, as you work in I.T., you'd know that most people completely ignore labour costs when it comes to these things.
