Wonder if this is real or just ragebait, really can't be sure in the current day lmao
I agree. It can go either the way, the story is written in such a manner for people to be angry. However, I could easily see someone becoming so brain washed by conservative media to actually believe this.
It is documented that watching Fox News is terrible. Or that people will believe even the most insane conspiracy theory. I think it's safe to assume that there are indeed people out there who do believe pronouns only exist because of trans people and the "Left".
If I agree with it, it must be real.
On reddit it's usually best to just assume something is for attention
The fascinating thing about these stories is that 10+ years ago people were all like: pics or didn't happen.
Now everyone is up in arms to defend these stories they want to believe in. /R/nOtHiNgEvErHaPpEnS
That's a good point, I am surprised by the amount of people who don't seem to care if something is true as long as it's "entertaining". It's probably a similar mindset to enjoying reality TV or pro wrestling?
I saw a meme yesterday that references this phenomenon:
"the saying used to be 'it's too good to be true' has morphed into 'it's too horrid to be false.'"
