I don't understand why people like you are pretending you don't know who she is when she's one of the biggest celebrities in the world with a giant fan base that does whatever she asks of them.
I get it, you're too good to listen to her music or whatever. I'm not even a fan of hers and I can recognize this as significant.
"Wannabe musician"
Aaaand that's a block!
"Wannabe musician" - that's a laugh.
This woman sings, dances, plays guitar and piano at her concerts for, like, three hours straight for sold out crowds all over the world where you have to get into a lottery to even buy tickets, but sure, she's not a musician. Give me a break.
The reason why her endorsement makes news is because she has 200M followers on social media, so whether you like it or not if she takes a stance one way or the other there will be people who listen.
She does all that and yet it all sounds repetitive and bland. She might as well be replaced by an AI.
Like you and your comments. Bland and easily replaced by a bot. The only difference is SHE is followed by millions of young people. I'm not even sure you can stand yourself.
How do you know what it all sounds like? I thought you only knew about her because of CNN and the BBC.
If that many people in your circle suck then, I hate to break it to you, you might be the one who sucks. Let them enjoy the music they like. I might not like the music you like but I won't judge you for liking it.
People in your circle keep playing the songs of someone you only know about because of CNN. I see.
Sure, bud.
Life is too short to pretend to hate Taylor Swift.
I'm sorry, but this is like saying you don't know who Elvis is in the late 1950s. Of course you won't know who she is if you refuse to find out who famous musicians are. She's so popular that her fans literally cause earthquakes just by dancing at the same time.

She was mobbed by so many fans at an airport in Tokyo that she caused flight delays:

Like I said, I'm not a fan. I know what exactly one Taylor Swift song sounds like and it's only because I was paid to do a parody of it many years ago.
But I'm also not ignorant of global pop culture.
Like I said, this is like saying you don't know who Elvis is in the 1950s. Your ignorance of one of the most recognizable people on the planet is no one's fault but yours.
Like I said, I do know who she is... thanks to CNN and their desperate attempts at remain relevant among celebrity worshippers. Now it's your turn to repeat exactly what you said before!
Yes, and in another comment you said you know what her music all sounds like, so I don't believe you.
Ah, so you know more about her than you claimed. Not sure why you lied.
Also, your issue seems to be that you want to nitpick the difference between knowing something and inferring it despite that I never said I knew it for a fact.
Yeah just keep talking with the person you think I am in your head...
I'm talking with the person who said this:
Now it turns out that you have listened to her songs and people in your circle are fans.
Otherwise known as lying.
