And they know exactly what they're doing
Yep, it seems like they don't respect anyone who disagrees with them, so they think it's fine to be entirely dishonest.
It's the same as how so many reactionaries only care about "owning the libs" and don't actually believe in anything, but it's "owning the tankies" instead
