She could do it, it's actually very easy to work on a fishing boat.
What, do you think the fish just fall out of a coconut tree?
I don't know.....Gilligans Island was never quite clear how they reliably fed a group of 7 with only coconuts and fish for 3 years.
Fishing is not hard at all. Children go fishing. It's even easier on a boat where the net does all the catching, and then a machine pulls the net up.
