He wanted Klob but BLM that summer made it inconvenient to nominate someone who openly railroaded an innocent black teen to score a conviction. She has some insane non apology for that where she bows out of contention for VP.

Kamala as VP isn't a desirable appointment but the output of some optimization problem of a loyal and connected insider with baggage that can most easily be deflected.
