I'm gunna bet over time a sharp bladed instrument has taken orders of magnitude more lives.
So again, is a sword melee worship and how would that be more or less offensive.
Probably not. They were in use for a much longer time, but population sizes and army sizes were much smaller during those times. Also, they are less deadly.
They're still in use and are a larger cause of accidental death as well.
Year 1066 problems just aren't as relevant in today's political and social climate. William of Orange totally would have had a sick sword themed gaming PC though
No one is getting stabbed and there aren't more stabbing deaths worldwide is what you're saying.
