Afaik this is Tash Peterson
Vegan activist doing good work, but also kind of a sensationalist attention seeker the way i understand it. I guess that helps get publicity to the topic.
Thanks. I think it was the only face of a real person on there, so I was wonder what made her special enough to get on there. Guess she must have fans in the fediverse.
One of the QR codes also links to a animal industry documentary that she has a connection to. So even more than just her face actually.
I just woke up and read that as Trash Person
Some would agree some would vehemently disagree
Lol
From what I read, this was an abuse of regulations, since they could not legally stop her from (peacefully but annoyingly) protesting at places like restaurants
Source? Dunno how you can't be trespassed for being drunk. You're implying that she wasn't drunk at all but protesting
Just what DuckDuckGo turned up with, I didn't know her before: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-07-23/tash-peterson-controversial-vegan-activist-perth-melbourne/101214758
Goals
That seems like that should be quite an achievement in Australia. Getting banned from one place might be an unfortunate evening where you drank a little too much. Getting banned from every place in a state is fucking God-tier levels of drunken debauchery.
Really she should probably be in politics the way things are going. Ethics are a thing of the past.
Did you miss the "vegan" part, tho'?
I can't think of anything more pleasant than having a drunk vegan activist drinking next to me
I once flew on an airplane sat next to a masseuse who consumed most of her own small-sized bottle of liquor she had brought on board with her, and we talked extensively as she became drunker and then she gave me a massage. That was pretty pleasant tbh.
I don't know what to do with this information.
Maybe just make a habit of carrying a small bottle of liquor onto airplanes, and carry it up and down in the aisle making that “pspsps” noise you can use to summon cats.
Already standard practice!
Be thankful she's not also a lawyer.
