Your spoiler tag isn't working.
This one works on my client, while normal ones don't
Yeah I can't get any of them to work. Do you know what Lemmy uses?
The format is
::: spoiler
and a title on the same line.Content on new lines, then
:::
to end it.I've tried every variation and it's not working. This is definitely the most complicated spoiler tag system I've seen.
They look like this
It's an expandable full-width deal. The spoiler start tag has to be on its own line, and the same goes for the ending three commas.MelodiousFunk has replied with a cleartext example.
Interesting. I'm using boost and your comment isn't spoiler tagged for me. That's also how mine is currently formatted. Shame since this app has a spoiler tag button that appears to match the format.
I use Thunder, full support here.
I've been using boost for what seems like a decade. I'll give thunder a try. Thanks.

hidden contentFYI your spoiler text isn't working for me; nor is that of anyone in the reply chain. Not sure if this is a problem with Boost, some weird federation glitch, or something else.
Boost doesn't support displaying Lemmy's spoilers
Oh gotcha, that's a shame. I wonder why?
Boost had some broken markdown for years on Reddit too, that was never fixed
