So I have a decision to make.

Do to get my headlight replaced after work or do I save it for the weekend instead?

Edit Update: Apparently I can't get mine replaced via Supercheap Auto barn and that I may need to go to a mechanic instead.

:(

Do it after work and then it's done ๐Ÿ™‚

Do it after work so you can have the weekend to yourself.

REALLY depends on the car. My old car was SUCH a PITA that I swore I'd never DIY again each time I had to do it.

My model car is a PITA, I'd need someone to do it for me.

One of those engineering masterpieces that needs the wheel to come off and the liners removed to change the bulb I'm guessing? ๐Ÿ™

๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ ooh I know that feeling. Luckily I have a great mechanic who did it for a 6 pack.

That's one way to put it, It's a Mk 1 Honda Jazz.

If it's just the globe (which it probably is), you can do it yourself at any time. Supercheap would have the right fitting globe and there's definitely YT videos on how to do it. You can probably even do it in the carpark without any tools.

Depending on the car and model of course, but it should be quite straight forward.

Get it done ASAP

I'd need someone to do it for me too. The job isn't as simple as reach in and pull the globe out.

Ah gotcha. Not ideal then.

How much driving are you doing in the dark?

[โ€“] [email protected] 3 points 5 months ago

Very rarely as I don't go out at night.

Darkest it'd get would be when I leave for work at 7 in the morning. I get home relatively early in day.
