Threads.net should be treated the same as any other bad actor in the Fediverse and defederated from all major mastodon servers such as mastodon.social due to housing hate speech.

We can't allow double standards because "they're so big." This is exactly why an instance of this size is dangerous in the Fediverse because admins will create double standards due to threads' sheer size and userbase.

If they allow hate speech and can't keep their userbase moderated then they need to be blocked. Full stop.

Right-wing media outlets and podcasters — including Matt Walsh, the account Gays Against Groomers, Chaya Raichik’s Libs of TikTok and the Babylon Bee — contributed to anti-trans hate, according to the report.
