Well this effects the rich fucks. Maybe they'll pay attention now. (Yeah right.)
Most regular skiers are generally pretty climate conscious. Like other outdoorsy sports.
However the people getting rich off the skiers are not, and they're the ones whose bank accounts stand to be impacted by a lack of snow.
They're even more aware, because, as you said, it's impacting their bank accounts. For example, Aspen has been quite public about climate change for a while https://aspen.gov/518/Climate-Action
I'm not sure what you're getting at. The ski industry isn't powerful enough to just fix climate change whenever it wants to. There are much more powerful forces at work.
They won't.. They'll just keep the snow machines on for longer
Or blame the resorts, or too many people, or such as on our case, got told off a bit when snow shoeing once
