Thank god. Half the population isn't smart enough to engage with it. If they're smart enough to turn access to it back on, then they pass the test.
Political content was the rage-bait that caused so many people to go down this hole of brainwashing that led them turning into weird-ass Qanon folk. It would be better if people had to search this out specifically.
Have you requested this feature from the lemmy devs? This place is 75% rage bait politics and fuck cars.
This place is too small for something like that to be practical, and operates in an insanely different way than Insta/TikTok, etc. We don't follow people here, we follow subjects.
Yeah, that's probably the main differentiator between Instagram and the hellhole that is Facebook.
