Heat has not worked. WD40 has not worked.

Iโ€™m genuinely about to sit the conglomeration in the dishwasher and run it through a cycle just to see

Have you tried tapping the bowls on the side with a solid stick like object.

When ground glass joints in by soldering equipment get stuck, I just tap the side of the joint until it separates.

Forgot to ask - are bowls ceramic or glass? Or melamine/plastic?

Ok now, if there is a gap between the bowls big enough to get water in the bottom bowl, fill it and freeze it. Maybe the expansion of the ice will be enough to dislodge.

just use some different bowls.

in a few days the stuck ones will come apart for unknown reasons

Oil around the join. Give it 10 minutes and try to pull them apart by gently twisting.
