Hello,

I’ve sent private messages to @[email protected] and @[email protected] almost a week ago with important information. I have not received a response and no action has been taken. Have these private messages not been received?

I also noticed that your caching setup is broken and will randomly serve the wrong type of content, as Lemmy has broken caching headers that don't work with standard caches out of the box. I just raised an issue on GitHub about this as well: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/5632

It's possible that these caching issues are causing federation issues and may also explain https://lemmy.studio/post/2675594.

It seems my posts and comments take a while to reach other instances if ever. Any transparency on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for running this place.

Okay, first, watch any episode of The Big Comfy Couch, Backyardigans, Dora The Explorer, Rayman PS1, Crisis Beat PS1, Chowder, Out Of Jimmy’s Head, The Suite Life, Foster’s Imaginary Friends, and Camp Lazlo. Then, listen to all the sounds in The Cartoon Trax 1. Do any of you recognize any of the sounds heard in that album? I certainly do! This is a tunnel vision moment that washed up upon me.

But although I managed to find these sites thanks to a tip on YouTube: soundideas.sourceaudio.com/albums and download.prosoundeffects.com/tracks, this is only part of my mission accomplished. I still need anything listed here: https://soundeffects.fandom.com/wiki/Sound_Ideas_Canada_Ltd. but are not available on Source Audio along with these: Alvin Earthworm's libraries used in Super Mario Bros Z, DePatie, DFE, Disney, Elektra Records, Famous Studios, FOX, Star Trek: Original TV Series, Joel Valentine, Hacienda, Hanna Barbera, Horta, Horta Hacienda, Alex Fresno, BBC, Bob Clampett, Harry Bluestone, Nickelodeon, Nelvana, New Warner Bros, NTWK, OMI, Pro Sound Effects, PSEL, Rocky and Bullwinkle, 20th Century Fox, Audio Effects Co., Rich Harrison, Mark Mangini, Richard L. Anderson, Skywalker, Warner Bros, Turner Entertainment, Unknown Sound Effects Library, and Valentino libraries.

Sites like Source Audio will allow me to listen to every sound file available in that album so I can know what I’m dealing with. I can also learn how these sound effects got their file names when they were first created.

Everything you hear in that album is their original unedited form. All you need now is some really good editing skills to mix and combine sound effects for different events.
