Pretty sure something screwy was happening on YouTube's end. Had a captcha and didn't let me solve it (can't recall the error code) ended up turning off my router for 30mins to get a new IP (compared both the old and new one) and added a VPN to my router for good measure and it seems to be working, not sure for how long though. Seems other people also had this happen so just wanted to post my findings here just in case anyone else is having this.

App crashes when playing a playlist and then switching to another app. Easily reproduced.

Software com funcionalidade de exportar e importar todos os seus dados, fazem toda a diferença na hora duma migração e pra fins de backup.

De agora em diante, esse vai ser um dos meus critérios de escolha de que softwares usar.

Não basta ser software livre, precisa não trancar as pessoas dentro dele

Nesse quesito, o @newpipe é ótimo! Fiz a migração com poucos toques, sem qualquer atrito.

I'm on 0.27.2 on an Android phone. When I try to view the movie in a web browser or via LibreTube, I get a message that this movie is age-restricted. Just wanna make sure it's not something that's broken for everyone.

Wieso kann ich eigentlich Videos von @digitalcourage.de nicht in @newpipe öffnen? Umschalten auf Peertube kann ich ja in NewPipe, und auch @mediacccde schauen (und Soundcloud und Bandcamp konsumieren). Aber digitalcourage.video kann ich nur im Browser ansehen, was bei Android immer kompliziert ist, weil ich ja die Wanzen wie Chrome und Samsung Browser nur im größten Notfall nehme.

When I subscribe to someone's youtube channel through Newpipe, does their subscriber count on youtube go up? Or is subscribing just telling Newpipe to bookmark that content for me, but doesn't tell youtube anything?

The reason I ask is because the subscriber count on youtube could be an underestimate that way.

Again: Problems here playing YouTube videos in @newpipe. It says "network error".

This is a post to inform that Newpipe is apparently reported as malicious app in South Korean Galaxy devices and there is no way to install official release apk without adb(few of the workarounds does not work anymore and there is no known way to install such apks without adb). This apparently checks package name and blocks users from installing apps.

I'm using v0.27.1 downloaded from GitHub. I threw Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love as an example URL. Thought it might ease the pain of YT mucking up NP again.
