He was already like this in the 80s. Just look up his speech about Israel from back then. These people don't have the capacity for remorse.

By "socialism" they mean something very different from what marxists mean. This isnt a dig at them or anything, but Venezuela inst really a communist project like China, the USSR or even Chile under Allende.

I don't know about Bolivia, but Venezuela ironically has zero pretensions of being a socialist country; there are no mentions of Marx or Marxism in their constitution. It's just that they pissed off the US really hard by daring to be a sucdem country while operation condor was in full effect and while they wanted to force neoliberalism into latin america. They also reverted the US backed coup almost instantly.

This happens every time a neoliberal "experiment" is attempted, it was the same with Pinochet as well. However, even if poverty skyrockets, the rich get richer, so they keep doing it.

Has long as the Palestinian people exist, and as long as their land remains occupied by settlers, their struggle will not be over.

I was expecting this whole operation to result in the destruction or near-destruction of Israel

How? That is simply not realistic considering the scope of this conflict. Israel has infinitely more resources and more manpower, this has always been a case of asymmetrical warfare.

There isn't enough being done by other nations to stop Israel.

This is being done precisely because NATO and the US supports Israel and sends them weapons and funding. They value their own interests in the region more highly than the lives of Palestinians. In fact, Israel wouldn't even exist without foreign support.
This conflict will only be resolved when supporting Israel becomes more trouble than it is worth, either because of the political turmoil at home is not worth the benefits, because the money spent on it outweights the profits, or simply because the crumbling empire no longer has the means to support it's vassals.
It's imperative to organize at home and to agitate against Israel if you're an USian, it might not seem like much but the more you pressure your government to stop supporting genocide abroad the closer we are to resolving this conflict.

South Korea was a brutal right wing dictatorship until somewhat recently, so maybe their views are a bit different. They also have some pretty awful labor laws to this day, even by capitalist standards. I don't know what they actually think about the DPRK though, but their experience with capitalism is not at all like the US or Ukraine.

Bourgeois democracies are absolutely incompetent at dealing with fascists. Lula's government will continue to slide rightwards as he gives more concessions to neoliberals as well.
