You're stretching the definition of democratic especially if you're extending that to all of these countries that have recently experienced coups.

It's not an SOE and like half of its stocks are owned by Americans. But the parent company got some government funding according to the US Congress, so the whole conglomerate is considered an SOE by America now. Sounds like trade war stuff to me lol
The issue of transgender athletes was basically resolved several years ago when the IOC decided on two years of feminizing hormones before transgender women could compete in the female category. But due to the re-emergence of the anti-queer culture war, sports federations are re-litigating the issue and throwing science out the door.
You're our strongest poster. Of course you have a fan club!
According to US officials, King – who chose to serve his time at a labour camp rather than pay a fine of about $4,000
So the American regime in south Korea has labor camps? Every accusation a confession...
toots.matapacos.dog is Hexbear affiliated (not official though) and unfederated with kolektiva.social out of security concerns. Looking at the people I follow who are mostly communists, the following instances may be fine:
- union.place
- tenforward.social
- jorts.horse
- mas.to very big instance that Yogthos is on
Interesting I guess. It's a no-brainer that this would happen when whiteness is defined by its purity. Some say the definition will be expanded like it was for Italians and Jews, but that requires racists to stop discriminating based off visual appearance so I kind of doubt it. Anyway, rip bozo lmfao
Well, this is 1978 Houston
That's the city at its worst. It's slightly better now. I don't know nearly enough to accurately describe the state of automobile infrastructure in 1973. The year of peak car hell is probably different depending on the city.
Edit: I missed half the point my bad. Trains in the US were hugely in decline and Amtrak was just formed in 1971. Taking a train between those cities may have been awful indeed!
Have you ever tried to go from Boston to New York by train?
Well yes actually and it was decent. Kind of a weird move to take America's best connected cities as an example for how bad cars have sabotaged transit when you have the entire rest of the country to make your point lol.
The rest of the article is good. The part about luxury automobiles becoming a universal commodity in advanced economies is very poignant considering I just saw a banana republican argue that communism is when everyone has a private jet. The fact that not all luxuries can be universalized really needs to be hammered into the heads of these people that fetishize growth.
Under the American Two Party regime, the state forces its netizens into an opaque "intranet" where any anti-regime sentiments are immediately purged by volunteers. 😔
Ah you're right. They go back to the Boer and Philippine wars and were operated by the British and Americans, respectively. Anyway, this video just looks to be a prison transport? I think we should get rid of prisons BTW, but prisons aren't concentration camps.
Someone reported it then. Reddit's moderation is very fascist, so I'm not surprised you got a warning for it. The opposite would not receive one.
