Especially if the American Barber Association has a rule that none of its members may participate in the haircut; and scissor manufacturers all refuse to sell to you. So you end up having it done by a random person who doesn't mind ignoring what every barber says, using a pair of rusty scissors the sherrif was able to find at a garage sale.

Until I noticed what community I was in, I interpreted it completely differently. The women is engaging in a niche hobby of making something in a particular and esoteric way, and the man just bought a mass produced version of the thing; thereby completely missing the point of what she was doing.

Like, if I wanms building a chair using hand tools and an unproccessed log. Sure, you could go to a furniture store and buy a chair, or maybe Ikea and "build" one; but that completely misses the point.

As a non-binary person myself, I actually hope the asterisk isn't meant to refer to me. I get offended enough by the common "women and non-binary" phrasing. But to literally include me as a footnote under "women"? If I was a women, I wouldn't be non-binary.

Not to harp on KDE too much here. Even in queer spaces, enby erasure is annoyingly common.

Boing makes the plane. If they choose to contract out portions, they are responsible for managing the subcontractors; which includes quality control.

But having the US navy run it might. Essentially, it becomes a question of who blinks first. Humanitarian organizations run away scared when the regional power starts dropping bombs and shhoting at them; and Israel knows it.

Picking a fight wirh the US military is a much bigger deal. This is why the US response to conflicts is often just "send in an aircraft carrier to float around near the issue"

The big ship stays in the water, and is used to supply smaller water craft that can ferry them directly to the coast; either by using smaller existing docks, or by simplying beaching on the cost. Unless we are saying that the US military lacks the ability to do a water based ground attack unless the enemy kindly leaves a port for them to use.

There are still a lot of rather arbitrary decisions to make.

Is 4/pi inside or outside of the summation?

Is it (-1)^n+1 or (-1)^n with an additional negative sign in any of the other natural locations for it.

Is the e term outside of the fraction with a negative exponent, or part of the denominator.

Do you start with n=0 or n=1 (and adjust the terms inside the summation accordingly)

Did they expand (2n+1)^2?

As a kid I attended a Jewish day school, and we had a year long class on European-Jewish history through the Holocaust.

The post screenshotted (allegedly from the AGA) reads almost like it came right out of that era as a piece of anti-semetic propoganda.

Seriously. Weather the post was actually from the AGA, or an anti-semetic propogandist, it is 100% blood libel, and should treated as such.

And? Discrimating against someone for their race, gender, or sexuality is bad. Discriminating against someone for being a jerk is fine.

What more do you want him to do? Politics moves on the margins, and Sanders is now and for as long as I can remember been one of the most Israel critical politicians both in terms of rhetoric and voting history. He is not a king; he is 1% of 1 chamber of the legislative branch of a country that has a lot of issues to deal with.

Coming around? When was he on the wrong side of this issue?

His October 10 statement includes:

Right now, the international community must focus on reducing humanitarian suffering and protecting innocent people on both sides of this conflict. The targeting of civilians is a war crime, no matter who does it. Israel’s blanket denial of food, water, and other necessities to Gaza is a serious violation of international law and will do nothing but harm innocent civilians. The United States has rightly offered solidarity and support to Israel in responding to Hamas’ attack. But we must also insist on restraint from Israeli forces attacking Gaza and work to secure UN humanitarian access. Let us not forget that half of the two million people in Gaza are children. Children and innocent people do not deserve to be punished for the acts of Hamas.

October 10. 3 days after the initial attack.

Back in January he tried conditioning aid to Israel and requiring the state department to issue human rights report on their conducts.

I know this is a small part of the feature; but it is the small part that offends me, and I see it all the time, so I am going to complain about it here.

Can we please stop saying "women and nonbinary" when we mean (charitably) "fem presenting people"; or non charitably "women and people who are actually women, but calling themselves non-binary to be cool".

Most people using this feature will not be happy getting matched with a masc presenting person. And the insinuation that non-binary is a type of women is common, offensive to afab enbys, and erasing to amab enbies.
