Do you just post every breaking points video you watch to multiple different communities? Why?
facow
Love how confused it gets with drawing parking spots
- You use something as a baseline if you think they're comparable. The cost of running a picture platform and a video platform are very different and would not justify a comparable split, much less a less favorable split. The split is unjustified by underlying platform costs and therefore greedy.
your insistent on there being malicious actions taken is so odd
- What are you even trying to say? It's odd to write a single comment saying that a YouTuber has an app with a poor revenue split? You're a clown
Absolutely hilarious to compare the cost of hosting any video from anyone to a small selection of presumably handpicked pngs. Video is astronomically more expensive before even getting into the fact the successful videos subsidize the cost of hosting the petabytes of unsuccessful ones.
And then he takes even more!
Potentially. It'll all depend on the permissions in the host (they're inherited iirc) and the user you're running your docker container as. I think if I remember correctly I made them 775 and all of the video stack related programs shared a group
Take a look at the docker-compose example in your link
volumes:
- /media/<your folder on host machine>:/<location you want to mount to inside docker container>
Is Firefox installed as a snap package on PopOS? That could be it if that's your only snap package. I'd recommend installing a Firefox fork that's a regular deb package (Libre Wolf probably?) and seeing if that changes anything
Lmao isn't Mint based on Ubuntu also? If you're going to suggest switching distros entirely for slow loading on a single app might as well choose one that's not derivative
Beautiful effort post. Made even better by the immediate "lalala I can't hear you" reply
Illegal dumping! They're ruining the free market!
Arch is like buying a Lego and putting it together versus an action figure. If you don't enjoy putting together the Legos then what's the point?
You should probably go with a ready to use distro
Are you not aware that 99 times out of 100 if you see a tech company rapidly growing it's completely unprofitable and not even attempting to be profitable yet? It's called blitzscaling and is pretty clearly what openai is attempting. Like if you see a tech company quickly growing you should be assuming it's unprofitable until proven otherwise not the opposite lol.
