I'm not American but the minister for Family/Sexual Violence in my country publicly said that "it is white, cis men" who "cause[s] violence in the world". Was pretty gutted to find out that my ex (cis woman) treating me like shit is entirely my own fault according to the MP who is supposed to represent all victims of family, sexual, and relationship violence.

Adding on to your comment, I read a really interesting study recently that suggests that interacting with AI engages the social parts of our brains but does not provide the same stimuli/feedback as interacting with a real person leading to increased loneliness and thus increased alcohol abuse and insomnia.
Honestly being vegan with modern farming and food production techniques is pretty easy, especially when compared to being vegan in the past - though if al-Ma'arri managed to live into his 80s while being a disabled, atheistic vegan in the middle east in the late 900s/early 1000s AD then it probably wasn't exactly impossible!
