This is true. Would probably be much easier technically and legally if they already own it, though.

That's interesting. So they buy the domain on your behalf and then rent it out to you. Pretty cool concept

That said, I've owned a fair few domains and never had to deal with 3rd parties, so I'm not sure if the added security risk (however small) of them hijacking your domain is worth it. For me, at least. YMMV

So it's possible to run it without signing up. Thats good news. All the reviews seem to say it's a requirement for the initial set up

Are there any special steps to get your set up? I imagine you need to side load your apps because the play store won't work, but is there anything else?

I suppose I could use someone else's account for initial set up. I've had a look and it seems nextdns allows different profiles per device, so I'll just block as many google domains as I can that way

Tbh, I'd be happy with side loading both Plex and revanced, but from what I've seen, it won't initialize without a google account

What makes a registrar more privacy focused than another. Just had a read of their website, but couldn't understand why they're better for privacy than any other

Same, this will plague Rod Stewart just like what Team America did to Matt Damon

That's interesting. I'm starting down the road of pour overs with a next level. I've previously been exclusively an espresso drinker.

The latest beans were feeling over extracted to me, so I've gone courser. The result has been pretty good, but maybe a bit light.

Would you try finer in this case, or would you stick to the pleasant, but lighter extraction?
