According to Wikipedia, the Web of Trust was was first put forth by Phil Zimmerman of PGP in 1992. In the last 32 years there seems to be next to no actual attempt to make this happen. If something came and went, I missed it. Most of my fellow devs have never run GPG.
What happened? What's holding us back from making a real effort at this?
