That's pretty excessive, yeah. Especially if you're a paying user, which you are.
It hasn't since the beginning. This is because it's still using and expecting Reddit's spoiler markdown. Should be fixed next release. See this earlier post from August:
Thanks for the effort you and the other mods put in. It's appreciated. It's a small, but overall nice community. I don't really miss the Reddit alternative. The small size also made me more active in the comments and posts (if only a little) than I was on Reddit. It feels less like you're posting into a void, especially if you're a day or two later in the discussion posts.

Yeah, nature or countryside isn't necessarily quiet. Crickets or cicadas or whatever can be pretty loud. Their higher pitch makes it more present too. Summertime tends to be the worst.

If by being assertive you mean knowing what they want, then I'd say Wotakoi. One of my favourites in general.

S1 is the weakest of the bunch imo. I had the same thoughts initially. Then season 2 started and it just became infinitely better for me.
Also, now that I watched AoT, Kaiju No. 8 feels like a dumbed-down knock-off.
