Was always a fan of the tacoma they were making before they increased the size of it, thing was kind of the perfect size. Roomy enough cabin, small enough to be drivable in a parking lot, enough bed for towing occasionally.

Id settle just for a truck that isnt very clearly pandering "im a big boy!" energy. There all way too fucking big for no god damn reason other than validation of ego. Bunch of weak fucking man babies need some million ton 3 lane wide truck just so they can pretend theyre a big strong man to themselves and everyone else, despite never using the truck for what its purpose is supposed to be.

Oh wonderful, a new anxiety is unlocked.... Though I will say that this wouldn't happen until mid to late December, and we will have election results around Nov 6-8. This is definitely a much harder gambit with over a month of time knowing the result of the election, that is to say, it'll be much more clearly a coup than if it happened during election day. Lets just hope this is a landslide for Harris, and the chance of this being a viable option for trump being even lower.

Not to say you are right or wrong, but by that logic I could tell you that santa clause has also prevented nuclear war an knowable number of times. Its a bad argument.

You're right, its a drop in the bucket for votes, but its a bullshit reason to cry "corruption" which we will certainly feel.

Just an FYI, all of these Ballot/Mail Box fires will be pointed to when trump attempts his second coup when he loses. I cant believe I'm casually talking about a future coup attempt in my country...

This will give a fake appearance of legitimacy to his claims. I'm worried...

I think what he is saying is sexism is at play much less than tribalism.

I dont think any sane person can say that sexism is not at play at all.

There is nothing to agree or disagree with here, I gave no opinion on spoiler effect, I explained 2 potential reasons why someone might vote third party.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Idk who your arguing with, I was showing a different point of view on why someone might vote third party, not sure why you're responding like such a dick.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 2 weeks ago (5 children)

It sounds like your interpretation of the spoiler effect centers on people voting third party due to dissatisfaction with the 2 unfortunately omnipresent parties, which would be the same as not voting. Have you considered that some people who were going to vote no matter what might vote for a third party candidate because their listed policies actually resonate with them?

We don't just give them free reign, for the most part the world promotes being selfish.

Damn near everything we ever hear takes no one else into account. Living wage is less and less common, billionaires have all the money in the world and zero accountability, healthcare (Mostly US specific) is an overpriced scam with no guardrails, food costs whatever the fuck the people who control it tell us it costs regardless of production costs, housing costs way too fucking much, fake news is more and more prevalent and conning more and more fools.

Its easy to see why people focus on no one but themselves anymore, its just the way of the world, toxicity is winning.
