Jesus became white when Christianity spread in Europe and became a European religion. Earlier Jesus paintings had him a few shades darker. Palestinians are still light skinned and the dark skin is mostly acquired from working in the field.
It is an easy trap to fall into since the US is still seen as the dominant and most advanced country.
Vaccine denial, climate change denial, and so on... All the conspiracies about COVID, those got translated and shared too. So glad many Arab countries took the mandatory vaccination route for COVID, the people can't be trusted to take care of themselves. Of course the vaccines being mandatory convinced the conspiracy theorists of the conspiracies they were translating and spreading. The most frightening hearing my father and others mentioning doctors who can fake your COVID vaccination record🤦♂️
Absurd. Al Jazeera is owned by the Qatari government which is a constitutional monarchy and not a leftist government.
