That's good to know
I'm not asexual or American (I'm also not a teen, 30) but the fact that baldurs gate 3 has sex in it and everyone talks about it like as if it's the most important part of the game makes me want to play it less. Sex seems weird to be in such a world.
Sometimes i wish media would just focus more on what mattered to what it is, because for the amount I hear of it bg3 seems to be a fantasy romance simulator.
We've had a lot of 2d ones recently though. I'd love to see a return of the 3d format for at least one game.
That is either the bane or something really close. It's really damn good too.
I got a second hand surface go 2 recently and it's the perfect companion device. I wish marvel unlimited and the like had apps on windows but that doesn't do me from using a different comic app and building up my own library anyway, probably for the better long term.
I just found out about mouse without borders yesterday and now my surface go 2 is like a portable monitor for my dev laptop when it's not docked in my study. But because it's still technically it's own thing and not just an extended desktop, I can have documentation on it and scroll with the touchscreen when needed without messing up the mouse on the laptop screen, but if i need to properly interact with the tablet I can just use the mouse and keyboard on my laptop too.
It'll be a game I'll always remember fondly. I still think of that ending to this day, one of the best.
Digital if it's significantly cheaper than physical. If I'm paying physical prices, then I'd want the full package, disc and case. But also I've found a lot of times getting physical for a game day one can actually be cheaper than digital (in the uk) and that's insane.
I've only played 2 and I feel the same way about it. I wish more games did this approach of using an open world as a setting for a linear game to perform.
You get the best of both worlds with this approach. The feeling of the world being more real and lived in, whilst having the tightness of the storytelling of a linear game.
I've always defended how mafia 2 did it and never understood why people wanted it to be more open world. The story had me gripped too much to even think about that stuff.
I always find it weird in some open world games where something in the story is described as being a race against time or so important it needs to get done now, but as the player you can just forget that for a bit and go do something else before continuing. Even just the ability to do that takes me out of it.
I've read the Hobbit and the fellowship a few years ago. I absolutely adored the Hobbit, genuinely think that is an awesomely written book. Fellowship however, is not a fun read, despite the content in the book actually being good. But the act of reading it is not.
Hobbies, do things you like to do. If you don't have any yet then have some fun figuring out new things to see what clicks for you
