I (Brazilian) told my fiance (German) that the EU is "A Colony Plus," in the sense they're also allowed to exploit other poorer nations, but will be thrown under the bus when convenient - as what happened with Nordstream showed him. Unlike my country and others, which are just a colony/backyard (some trying to break their chains and getting punished for it).

To be honest, my father taught me to never underestimate human stupidity.
There is a documentary named "Loyal Citizens of Pyongyang in Seul", about the DPRK "defectors" that regretted their decisions. It was on youtube last year, but I do not know if it is still there.
If (1) were true and Russia would only retaliate against Estonia that Estonia would be stupid enough to sacrifice itself for the rest of NATO? After watching what Russia has done to Ukraine? I know libs are oblibious, but…
To be fair, a lot of US and NATO military commanders are pissed that the Ukrainians are "afraid of casualties." So it wouldn't be a surprise if the yankees didn't genuinely believe the Estonians would be willing to die for NATO.
