There has been so much commotion around this game that things are genuinely confusing, the devs pumping it thinking they made something pretty good, people angry about which characters have tits and which ones don't, kind of samey looking reviews.
ignore all of that noise and just see what your favorite youtuber has to say about it. Mortismal gaming reviews RPGs thoroughly and was pretty positive on it, noting that the die hard Dragon age folks might not like how little of the lore carries over, but on it's own stands as a pretty good action RPG.

I mean, I'm kinda on their side with this. They majorly changed an iconic character who had a distinct appearance. Ariel is pretty much an icon of the 80's kids back before the internet, so the public zeitgeist was a lot more common and shared, rather than fractured with a girth of media options like it is now. Everyone knew and had an image in their head of Ariel.
Normies don't know who tilde Swinton's character in dr strange is, especially before but even after the movies.

Why not? are you expecting a fully game on release? When have they ever put out something that wasn't fixed by modders?
Better yet, I'd like to see them put out more of a platform than a game with maybe a built in missions they can call "Cannon", sort of like the ARMA series does. Let the people build it, they have been anyway.
