Because that's how you end up with dipshits calling federal funding of the CIA socialism.

Socialism is when the government does stuff. If it does a lot of stuff that's communism.

according to these Anti-Communist Party clowns, the nazis destroyed the institute and set back the field by decades to hide the fact that they were themselves queer and/or trans. For what reason why these neo-nazis believe such nonsense, I couldn't fathom the answer. But I can tell you for a fact it's a part of their national mythmaking internal propaganda to fabricate the belief that anything that diverges from cis-het gender norms is fundamentally tied to fascism and that the sexual chauvinism of their twisted caricature of communism, being socialism with nationalist characteristics, so that the mythological industrial proletariat they're pursuing will no longer conflate communism and fascism together because they will be the based sigma male commies while they point the finger at the 'woke left' and say those are fake commies just like the nazis.

We are constantly making the mistake in Russia of judging the slogans and tactics of a certain party or group, of judging its general trend, by the intentions or motives that the group claims for itself. Such judgement is worthless. The road to hell—as was said long ago—is paved with good intentions.

It is not a matter of intentions, motives or words but of the objective situation, independent of them, that determines the fate and significance of slogans, of tactics or, in general, of the trend of a given party or group.

~ V.I Lenin Word And Deed

If both parties are doing the same shit, it doesn't fucking matter why

Yes, he's also cool guy in person. very pedantic in a humorous way, you'd almost mistake him as a trot.

Also a sort of role-model for myself as an amateur historiographer that never academically studied sovietology and is approaching it from outside the ivory tower of cold war warriors

Hence, me including SpinScore link to the articles I post. Not only it evaluates each article content and not the site, but it also removes human bias element from the equation

Those glorified chatbots don't fall out of coconut trees, the fact that their very existence was designed by human hands explicitly blends human bias into them.

The belief in unbiasness is a form of ethereal idealism that is unattached to material reality and willing faith in its ephemeral existence blinds the individual to biases that disguise itself as anything but.

but to quote something from a leftist friend of the author

It honestly felt like Bartov's pointing out the very serious historical and material myopia that exists within Israel proper, outside of very specific and rare circles, that's developed to such a severe degree that when blowback against the actions of their fascist state occured a la O7 that it completely disorientated them and shattered their fictional worldview.

Like it's quite possible we're able to get a glimpse into history of what was happening in fascist Germany with how inundated with propaganda their people were with observing the continued unraveling we've been given a glimpse into with the contemporary events occuring.

Excellent read. Should be a mandatory read for anyone with interest in the current genocide being perpetuated against the Palestinian people.
