The mass victim blaming of these pieces has been appalling and as confusing as the crackdowns on campus protests against the Israeli massacres of Palestine.

I have never felt so estranged from the points of view of the media as I have been this past year, and I’m a 40some year old cis, straight, white dude. I’m afraid this is all going to get far worse before it gets better.

all the media on this has been interesting, and I don’t know how much to apportion to general slowfootedness, and being out of touch - and how much to blame the billionaires pushing narratives.

Popular support doesn’t make murder right or just. But it is irrational for society to remain placid whilst being robbed of resources by a few bad actors.

In other periods of human history, they would have been swiftly ostracised- if they were lucky.
