Does the UK have every elemental boss? If so what happens if you beat them all?
UK Politics
General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both [email protected] and [email protected] .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
[email protected] appears to have vanished! We can still see cached content from this link, but goodbye I guess! :'(
Think Labour will reverse this @[email protected]?
I'm doubting that personally. Especially considering they reversed their pledge to renationalise water. After they reversed their pledge to renationalise trains and other utilities.
How many news stories of reversals do you have to see @[email protected] before you accept that Labour are just competent Tories?
I don't think they'll claw back bonuses that have already been paid, if that's what you mean, but I do think they'll do broadly what Steve Reed describes in the article. It's pretty much win-win for Labour, because it's revenue neutral and obviously popular. And it might even actually stop them dumping sewage!
I can't decide if you're woefully naive or a Red Tory. :/
No, not at all naive! As you've noted in your other comments, I'd just made the mistake of not noticing that I'm actually a Conservative. Now you've pointed it out to me, it's blindingly obvious that voting Labour and being a member of the Labour party and not wanting a Tory government is exactly what makes me a Tory. It's funny, isn't it, you go your whole life not noticing you're actually a Tory, then some stranger on the internet sees right through you.
I think you need to take up smoking/vaping, or meditation.
Typical Champaigne-Socialist Londoner. So much pent-up rage.
I'll take a leaf out of your book in future and start tagging you in random comments to berate and insult you, then everyone will see how calm I am.
