If Harris wins, this move gets him nothing for the lost reputation damage incurred to the Post. If Trump wins, does anyone really think that he’ll interpret not endorsing a candidate as sufficient loyalty to spare Bezos’ interests from his vengeance campaign?

He wants more tax cuts. This is a business decision.

I don't think the oligarchs really believe that trump has any real chance to pull off anything. The judges aren't in trump's pocket, they are in the oligarch's. As long as trump is useful and doing what they want the billionaires will support him. Once his election falls through he will be abandoned unless he somehow retains political clout and can direct someone else on their behalf.
