Lure an enemy to a location near the trap, then throw something into the trap. Make sure the trap is closer to the enemy than to you.

Sheep stone and Swifthistle seed do work, as mentioned. Hourglass if you had it yeah. Just kiting a mob into it would work, I don't think Disint traps destroy equipment anymore.

Was about to say Aquablast, but it does use (1/8th of) Levitation.

Telekinetic Grab spell made from a thrown weapon.

Blast wave or force cube launched from just out of line of sight from the trap would work.

Or a seed of swiftwhistle as the other poster mentioned.

Edit: or Stone of Flock

Triggering the trap will destroy the armor

Potion of storm clouds or aqua brew... Both made from levitation potion.

You can put thrown weapons in an alchemy pot to make liquid metal, then put liquid metal in to make telekinetic grab spells.

A couple of swiftthistle plants should let you walk on the trap, pick up the armor, then get around a corner before the trap goes off.

Used to be able to use disarming stones but Evan hated bomb ID so bad he fucked other things up to "fix" it.

The Disarming nerf was disappointing, but there's still Flock which is just as effective over a larger area.

I just wish Evan had changed the glyph for Detect Magic because I've gotten bit by that mistake once or twice already.

Flock helps with gripping/flashing trap rooms?

No, those re-arm, unfortunately. :-/
