I have a question from this article not directly linked to this phone though. In the charging section, they have compared multiple phones and how much they charge in 30 minutes. The top slot is occupied by a Samsung phone with 45W charging support and 4900 mAh battery. However, Motorola and Xiaomi both have almost similar battery capacity and still charge slightly slower despite boasting significantly more (67W) charging support. What is the reason for this discrepancy?

I'm guessing either something changed in their testing methodology, or Motorola and xiaomi both became slower for some reason, or perhaps samsung became faster and aggresive with their 45w PD+PPS charging. Because, other motorola and xiaomi smartphones charge fast at 40-50mins typical.

Even my own phone(not a xioami/Motorola) charges at a similar speed. In any case these speeds can change due to various factors like heat and usage. So, if your phone is hot it will charge at a different pace compared to if it was cool to the touch.

i have a redmi k60u and it charges at 120w albeit with the screen off and with the charger that came in the box

it was imported so maybe that's why they exclude it

I'm literally loosing my interest in Android phones. No innovation, no implementation of what the users actually want.

my interest in Android phones

In android specifically or did you just add that since we are in an Android community? Because for me that's just phones in general. I couldn't really think of a major innovation Apple has had in their recent iPhones either. It's all incremental improvements in performance, battery life, display and camera, paired with some minor software features. And in apples case being forced to adapt USB C.

What features would you be waiting for? For me it would be some proper implementation of a Desktop mode (in the lines of Samsung Dex). Since I feel phones have plenty of performance by now, enough where paired with a good dock they could replace desktop PCs for many people.

How else are they gonna sell you their Galaxy Buds? Except for entry level Samsung phones, they don't exist in this company 's lineup.

Amongst other manufacturers, Sony offers it but makes fewer devices per year and offers bad software support. Even companies like Motorola and Nothing prefer folks buy their MotoBuds and Nothing Ear respectively.

You should consider the actual phones which do include this feature. Gsmarena has a phone finder function which can help narrow the results.

Those things have been gone from every flagship for years

FE used to stand for Fan Edition, but now it's just a slightly tweaked, cheaper S series smartphone.

The only FE that had a headphone jack was the Note FE, and that was in 2017. Every other FE phone has just been a cheaper S series option.

The Note FE was also just a rebranded Note7 with a smaller battery.
