Having a bad day. Hurt my back a bit.
Also it always sucks when you vent to someone (who youβre meant to) but they kind of say the wrong things/argue with you and make it worse.
The state of my house is bothering me. Iβm pulling air through the place due to needing to use a scented carpet cleaner. The one I ordered isnβt here yet and certain spots needed another scrub (or there were new ones).

I have built a castle, I'm practicing clipping and layering to make it look really detailed. I just got distracted landscaping and then had the idea to make a little tower on the island. The fiddly part was the bridge, which is multiple square buildings which I adjusted and layed together. I could fiddle with that for ages trying to get it all perfectly even
It sounds like some pretty details tools to play around with.
Maybe add a fountain too if it exists?
It only releases a few weeks ago, and honestly the simplicity in the UI understates the complexity you can achieve with creative thinking. I watched a YouTube video on beginner tricks and there's things the game doesn't tell you; like you can add a window but you can also stack them and make 2 or 3 pane windows (see my pic, the top floor). No fountain yet, there's already been heaps of suggestions haha, only made by like 2 people.

Down to Flinders for a walk in the sunshine and watch people floating around in the sky. Absolute ripper of a day! Now for some house cleaning before dins out. So sleepy though!
Edit: I napped instead. No regrets.
Sitting in this glorious sun trying out a new banh mi place. Viet ice coffeeβs hit different, itβs like 5 coffees in one without being too bitter. Buzzing right now and wondering what to do with all this energy before I crash hard.
I'm still in a cafe still drinking my coffee really slowly and and enjoying being out.
Actually needed to get out to clear my head a little bit and work out a few things but it helps sometimes just getting out of home and doing it somewhere different even if it does seem like a very small change.
Anyway worked out some stuff and now have some clarity with a few things for the next month.
Also Devon is now 5 dollars!!! What's the world coming to?

Thatβs wild. The bottom photo looks like it was coloured in Pantone 448 C, which was chosen for cigarette packaging.
That's the colour green beans looked like in the 80s when they'd been boiled to death.

Yeah, it wonβt be an exact replication but itβs best available tool I know to get a guess.
Do you try and incorporate a different taste for colour differentiation ?

Next time go for blue/yellow differentiation of colours not red & green. Red/green colorblindness is the most common I think, blue/yellow blindness is less common. Besides, how do we know that dinosaurs weren't khaki? We don't.
One thing I'm becoming a Luddite about is writing things down more. There are some songs on guitar I can play if I play along to the tab, but I just haven't been able to memorise.
I've written down the passages with the first chord as reference and I can play by myself a lot better now.
I used to have a folder with print offs of songs. I stopped doing that when I moved to Melbourne because I didn't have the space or a printer.
By writing things down I can summarise passages of songs, then do the same thing for the structure, then I could just use the song name as a prompt and play the whole thing. I should have done this years ago
