Why is everyone drawing a Goose?

Probably the bill shape in the prompt, and the height of the head compared to the legs. Compare this goose to this duck.
Safe to say I don't have a career as an artist, unless it's abstract art. Still, I was going for more of a penguin-like body intentionally. I didn't fail at the task, I just found an approach that requires a skill I haven't trained yet.
You add quotes on "art" and then draw cool mechs with tiny circuity details all over, you can't do that! :P
