Felt really tired today for no real reason. So of course, now I am not sleepy at all.

You don't know how it feels....
RIP Tom Petty
nooo
I know but...he dead
I am getting to that age π
Just a weird day here.
But what is not weird. I don't think I will ever tire of looking at the stars. They are always beautiful and wondrous. π
I love it when Iβm in country areas with less light pollution. So many stars!
As much as I cherish my nephews and nieces, I myself could not in all good conscience bring a child into this toxic world.
Iβve chosen not to and I think everyone will be happier for it
thank you
if good people stop having having children then there will only be the children of bad people
Or people that are just more optimistic have them (whether the optimism is reasonable is a matter of opinion I suppose).
Optimism by its nature is unreasonable.
That's what makes it so powerful.
optimism has great value, without optimism no one would try to make the world a better place
Ha, that was funny - was cooking dinner and due to the cats deciding that they wanted food Right Now and me trying to cook, feed them and not trip on them simultaneously, I grabbed and used the 1/3 cup measure instead of the tablespoon one. Turned out delicious, though, so no complaints in the end.
They Ratatouilleβd you
Iβm still struggling both physically and mentally. Forcing myself to do stuff is backfiring and causing a lot of stress. But the alternative is to just do nothing? Indefinitely?
Iβve inexpertly taken the soil samples and only just remembered - even if they come back safe I might not use the soil because thereβs the cat poo to consider.
When I adopted Melbcat she was an outdoor girlie. While that was years ago and sheβs now adjusted to being a litterbox enjoyer, I canβt promise the same for the visiting cats or possums.
Miserable Melbourne weather out west after a ripper 29C yesterday, guess it was to prepare me for coming back home. I'm still feeling anxious about uni and not being up to what's required of me - but the TLC at my aunties has been really great. I'm glad I'm not staying longer or I think I'd get to a point of indulged-in inertia that I won't be able to get out of in a hurry...
I splurged and got a slice of cheese cake and a small mousse.
Living large over here lol
Iβm a learner gardener and have inadvertently bumped off more plants than I care to admit. Despite this, these orchids have been going strong for about 15 years, so thought Iβd show them off
Heckin good orchids - that's pretty awesome work I'd say.
They are beautiful!
ooh looking healthy!
Beautiful! I love cymbidium orchids.
Oh and I forgot who had the chillos that were at risk of getting too cold - but you can buy or make covers to go over the top of them.
Even put them in a plastic tub with a lid as a temporary greenhouse til you can get something else sorted
Beer & chips in the sunshine, don't mind if I do.
I'm free at last ππ»π»π»πΊ.
Actually didn't mind working today for almost $100 per hour π
If I was to grow zucchini in pots would a tripod of Brunnings bamboo stakes be enough support? (The thin kind?) Or should I go for a thicker individual wooden stake for each, or a cheap wooden lattice?
I probably wouldnβt be letting the fruit get full size. More young tender zukes
Iβve never staked zucchinis, the grow in a sprawling style. From memory I think the stalks might be a bit too fragile for forcing upright? Iβm no expert though, just whatβs worked for me.
Ah I kinda have to though. Using pots in a limited space and trying to keep the fruit off the ground.
Iβll try to be very careful with wide fabric ties and picking them small
Zuchs don't usually need staking as they form a rosette style bush. Maybe one thick sturdy stake to tie the growing tip up to.
Thanks, that sounds nice and cheap.
I want to do tiny sugar pumpkins too but that might be too many plants
Pumpkins do tend to sprawl - these will need a trellis or something.
Maybe in future then
Pakidge! Am now in temporary possession of a vampire llama Halloween jumper. It is ridonkulous.
Pix please! There is a vampire llama shaped hole in my life that I didn't know existed.
Itβs highly internetsble, but ok
Love it! That sneer that llamas do so well!
