This community is first and foremost a feminist community for men and masc people, but it is also a place to talk about men’s issues with a particular focus on intersectionality.
Rules
Everybody is welcome, but this is primarily a space for men and masc people
Non-masculine perspectives are incredibly important in making sure that the lived experiences of others are present in discussions on masculinity, but please remember that this is a space to discuss issues pertaining to men and masc individuals. Be kind, open-minded, and take care that you aren't talking over men expressing their own lived experiences.
Be productive
Be proactive in forming a productive discussion. Constructive criticism of our community is fine, but if you mainly criticize feminism or other people's efforts to solve gender issues, your post/comment will be removed.
Keep the following guidelines in mind when posting:
- Build upon the OP
- Discuss concepts rather than semantics
- No low effort comments
- No personal attacks
Assume good faith
Do not call other submitters' personal experiences into question.
No bigotry
Slurs, hate speech, and negative stereotyping towards marginalized groups will not be tolerated.
No brigading
Do not participate if you have been linked to this discussion from elsewhere. Similarly, links to elsewhere on the threadiverse must promote constructive discussion of men’s issues.

This is wild because I’m initially like “criticizing Israel for carrying out genocide is not antisemitic” but these dolts then segue into actual anti-Jewish, antisemitic conspiracy theory bullshit like the right-wing chads that they are.
It's an easy hook. An increasing number of people are frustrated and mad about that situation and nobody is doing anything about it.
So if you give them a place to vent that anger and feed it over time, pulling them to the more extreme, you get a bunch of followers
Zionism and antisemitism are not mutually exclusive.
No, maybe not. But that's a far cry from, yknow, wanting them dead. You wanting them to succeed and maybe just not liking them much as a group is barely hate.
And yet these people are on the same side, politically, as Netanyahu and his supporters.
People mock the left for having strange bedfellows, like LGBTQ people supporting Palestinian rights (not understanding the point of universal human rights)...
...but it's nowhere near as weird as Zionists playing footsie with the same antisemitic Nazis that want them dead.
Prior to the Holocaust, there was a significant part of the Zionist movement that was playing footsie with the actual Nazi's. The Nazi's didn't want to kill the Jews, they wanted them out of Europe. Zionists thought that made them potential allies. Ultimately, that didn't work out because the Nazi's thought that moving them to where modern Israel is would be too destabilizing for the region. The Nazi's still ended up supporting establishing a Jewish state, with Hitler approving a plan to do so in Madagascar. This plan was eventually abandoned in favor of their "final solution".
Calling the Fascist messianic government of Israel "Zionist" is like saying all Germans are Nazis
