Russia has launched the largest attack on Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022, Ukraine's Air Force reported on Aug. 26.

Russia launched 127 missiles and 109 drones, while Ukraine downed 102 missiles and 99 drones, according to the Air Force. Russian strikes hit several civilian, energy, and fuel facilities, including a dam in Kyiv, part of the Kyiv Hydroelectric Power Plant.

Any word on the Belarus "army exercises"? Looks like Wagner got recalled from Africa to march around Ukraine's northern border.

Lukashenko is a lot of things, but he is not a fool. Using Belorussian troops to go into Ukraine, would allow Ukraine to use their Belorussians to invade Belarus. Luka likes his job of being Putins trolling henchmen.

That is the most likely case, but IF Ukraine doesn't have enough defense on the border he might attack for Putin. It is a risk, but if he takes and hold Kiev it is a win. He might just be insane enough to attempt that, so Ukraine must figure out how to defend and that diverts troops (which is what Russia wants)

Ok, so no actual boots on the ground and no actual impact on the Ukrainian ability continue what it's doing?

A temper tantrum with a body-count.

A temper tantrum with a body-count.

Not to mention an extremely short-sighted and wasteful appropriation. Losing over 100 drones in a single incident that mostly fizzled surely won't come back to bite them in the ass on other fronts in the very, very near future. They're throwing rocks at a tortoise and they aren't exactly sitting on a mound of gravel

Yet another war crime, fuck Russia.
Well done that Ukraine got most of it, but fuck that 25 missiles and 10 drones got through.
For fucks sake Biden, wake up now, and grant Ukraine the right to defend themselves fully!!!!!!
This is intolerable, Russia needs to be stopped as effectively as possible.

I think the USN could spare 4-500 Tomahawks. Send those over and see how well Putin's airfields fare with that.
