My last job was dedicated to Sonos hardware for the music in their retail locations. Part of my role was to manage all of that garbage and the integration with a custom A/V solution. Who's laughing now, assholes? HAHAHAHAHA!!!
Sonos users, come on over to Lyrion. The water's open source, self hosted, and fine 😎
I love how my app automatically cropped the image to just say "ono" XD
Like yeah, "oh no" is right
They should have spent the time developing something of solid value, rather than patent trolling, and competing with brands, who released similar products, just to throw something into the market
I sold off my 4 Play:1s just after the initial app release, seeing the writing on the wall. Looks like it is time to sell off my newer Sonos speakers and invest in an alternative.
Who?
Pretty good home speakers with the shittiest locked in app.
