Microsoft to retire Paint 3D, plans to remove the app from Store across Windows devices
(www.xda-developers.com)
Proprietary software strikes again: "we don't want it anymore, so you can't have it either."
Did anyone ever really want it, though?
I like using it for collages and memes - the magic cutout plus the 3D tools made it really easy to edit things together quick and dirty.
2025: Microsoft to end Notepad, force text editing in Office 365.
2026: Microsoft to destroy all copies of Hover! with a hammer.
2027: Microsoft blocks the taskbar, forces Live Tiles, announces customers can't have any pudding if they don't eat their meat.
How can you have any pudding if you don’t eat your meat?!!
Would have been nice to be given an option whether all these folders I don't want exist in the first place.
Looking at you, 3D.
