For three quarters, this was the sloppiest superbowl I ever watched. But then...

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Fuck me, i stopped watching euro football to get away from the same teams winning, year after year, but this is even worse.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Hardly. It's the first time in 20 years a team has won the Super Bowl in back to back years.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

Alternatively, in the last 10 Super Bowls the AFC has been represented by the Chiefs or Patriots 80% of the time.

Wtf is John Elway doing presenting the trophy?!

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

They were so close! 😭 My partner was cheering for the Chiefs, though, so at least it's not all sad in my house. And it was a damn good game.

Purdy is unflappable and it wouldn't surprise me to see him as a fixture in future post seasons. Hats off to the 9ers.

Noooooooooooo

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago (2 children)

That’s what we like to see!

Look I was fist bumbling at the beginning of OT. You love to see a nail biter. I lived most recently in SF but grew up in KC. So in Norway I was just happy to see a good game.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

Haha I was just talking to my wife a minute ago and she was complaining it was a terrible Super Bowl. I said, objectively it was actually a really good game. Just hate to see the Chiefs win again.

Glad the 9ers finally remembered they had the best running back in the NFL.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago (1 children)

So glad he was finally healthy for a whole season, he is such an amazing back.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

I've had him on my fantasy league since his rookie year, since we're in a keeper league. I get trade offers all the time, especially when he's injured. I keep telling people he will die on my roster.

Tf happened to kittle?!?!

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Sure would like that missed PAT back right about now.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Yep. But then, in that case the Chiefs know they need a TD and they quite probably get it. At least the 3 point gap meant they settled for a FG.

Romo really like the word "permutations".

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

Romo should have become a play caller instead of a game caller.

"My finger hurts I can't stand up" -56

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Seriously. Dude just stopped the game for 10 minutes with a fucking finger.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

Then wanted to stay in bahaha

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Purdy needs to get his swag back.

Perfect drive for my xbox to try and shut down in the middle of...

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

Nightmare!!

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Was that not a hold on the Chiefs 1st down?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

If you pay attention to Bosa and the line every play, there’s holding like 80% of the time

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago)

It was 73 was definitely holding

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago (1 children)

49ers special teams dont play around.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago (1 children)

And it all went down the drain.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

For when AliExpress isn't cheap and trashy enough.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago (2 children)

I feel like San Fran has abandoned the run. And it's not working out for them.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

The Chiefs did it to the Ravens, too. They're good at making it hard to establish the run.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Might see more of it now if Deebo is injured :-(

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

2nd player to go down on his own on the turf, wtf

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Hasn't gone well for them all year when Deebo is hurt. Hope it's not bad

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

Just unbelievable luck, Greenlaw and Deebo both injured without even any contact? FFS.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

This is what happens when Defenses have 2 weeks to prepare for a game with a season's worth of film.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

Only an Andy Reid team burns a timeout 3 minutes into the second half of the Super Bowl.

And doesn't even get close to converting.
